How to acquire English skills even if you don’t want to. Chapter 1 Introduction

I have never studied English as an academic subject. But I didn't dislike English, so out of necessity, I learned it on my own to get my current level of English, a level that I can manage to work with. My English is not at a high level. However, the method I learned through self-study may be useful for other learners. I am not a critic, but I hope this book will be helpful to those who will read it and learn English from my own experience.

　You don't need to spend money to improve your English. You don't need to go abroad (study abroad). You don't need to have a foreigner by your side. You don't need a foreign English teacher. All you need is the will to find a way to study English that suits you and to continue your efforts with joy. It doesn't matter how bad you were at English in school. If you can basically speak Japanese, you can certainly speak English. Let's do our best together.
