They are smart enough to know they are living in capitalisticsociety. Japan is still male-dominatedsociety. They cannot trust boys who havelittle possibility to survive.

第二に、勉強の進み方に困る。特に中学校では、クラス内に自分より学力が上の子がいない。だから、解けない問題がでてきた時に教えてもらえる相手がいない。

　常に教える側なので、どこに質問を持って行けばいいのか困る。学校の先生は

「今度までに考えておく」

　と言って逃げると言う。また、

「あの先生に近づきたくない」

　と言う子もいる。

　進学校では、全員がライバルなので質問もできない。

　難関大の過去問をスラスラ解説できる講師が塾や予備校にもいない。いても、名古屋など遠方になってしまう。

Secondly, thelevel in class is not appropriate for smart students. Especially at public junior high, they haveno friend to ask questions when they have the problems which they cannotsolve.

They are always in the side to teach, not to be taught. When they ask public school teachers, theanswer is

“I’llanswer it later.”

They say it’s just an excuse. At publicsenior high school level, all the class mates are rivals and it is difficult orimpossible to ask. We have few crammingschool teachers who can give answers to smart students.

　　勉強のできる子には、それなりの悩みがあることが分かった。そして、悪いことに、その悩みを口にすると学校の先生や塾の講師をバカにすることになるので、口にしにくい状況なのだ。

　　要するに、彼女たちは孤独なのだ。

「淋しい理系女子」（３）

　学園ドラマは「スクーズ・ウォーズ」や「ビリ・ギャル」のような落ちこぼれの話ばかりがウケる。学校も教育委員会も落ちこぼれ対策ばかり考えている。まるで、マジメな生徒のことなど考えていないようだ。

　特に、優秀な理系女子など眼中にない。使用する教科書も、授業も、宿題もまるで彼女たちのレベルに合っていない。むしろ、いらぬ負担ばかり増やすものが多い。だから、内職をせざるをえない。

　　I don’t know why “School Wars” and “Biri gal” are popular. Main characters are bad students. Teachers and the board of education areconsidering only bad students, too. Theyseem not to think about good students.

「なんで、暴走族やヤクザになっていく可能性の高い子ばかり大切に・・・」

　と思うのも当たり前だ。そういう彼女たちを正当に評価してくれるのは“受験”しかないのだから、頑張るのは当たり前。

「先生の教え方が悪い、問題集が悪い、塾の先生が悪い、社会が悪い」

　そんな、他人を責めることしか出来ない同級生など視野に入れていたら嫌になるので無視するのも当然だ。
