There is a saying that " Practice makes perfect." when it comes to acquiring foreign language skills for practical use. However, students and working adults don't have the luxury of unlimited time to learn a language one by one like a baby does. It is an illusion that if you go abroad or study abroad, you will naturally acquire foreign languages. ・・・・ Studying abroad should be done to confirm or supplement the results of your previous study.

One of the most practical and concrete ways of self-study that I would like to suggest is to get into the habit of writing your diary or blog in English. This means to make a continuous effort to use the knowledge you currently have on a daily basis, and to recognize your current ability.

It may take some time at first, and/or you may feel uncomfortable, but if you start with a short piece of content and keep at it, you will get used to it. If you stop or take a break from writing in English, don't worry about it too much, and just start again. Don't worry about what the others think. Give it a try.
