Learners are made to think English grammar is more difficult than it needs to be, which contributes to their dislike of English. This is an adverse effect of the point reductionist and perfectionist educational methods, and it is clearly the fault of the educators. The students are the victims of this. The students are innocent. The lessons should be easy and understandable.

Grammar is like traffic rules on the road and it is essential. It is never unnecessary. Sometimes some people say that grammar is not necessary or not important for English conversation or practical English, but that is a big mistake.

Grammar is necessary, but a few mistakes we make in grammar will not be fatal. Just as there is a certain amount of "play" in steering a car, let's get away from the point reductionism and perfectionism of exam and school English. It is also important to change your mind and allow yourself the mental space to make some mistakes.

If the traffic rules are in a thick book, say several hundred pages long, do you feel like reading and understanding the rules? In my case, no. Not all of us are going to be linguists so that they don't want to be forced to buy a thick book at a high price. I think it's best if the rules are simple, easy to understand in a thin book. Grammar books will be discussed later.
