How to acquire English skills even if you don’t want to. 2. My method of studying English unaided 2-1 How to study in our teens 2-1-3 Vocabulary
When the number of words gradually increases, you can connect them to form meaningful sentences. In the beginning, however, you can use many short sentences. Even if the sentences seem childish at first, the important thing is to convey your intentions. It's a foreign language, so let's just work on it.
English words are basically arranged in the following order: (1) subject, (2) verb, (3) object, and (4) the rest. A sentence is not a cipher of words. It follows a set of rules that are designed to make it easier for others to understand.
For example, the sentence of "I saw Mr. Kan on TV this morning. He's quitting next month," follows the above rule.
On the other hand, in Japanese, the order is messed up, subjects are often omitted and any of the following word orders will make sense.
"I this morning on TV Mr. Kan saw."
" This morning on TV Mr. Kan I saw."
" Mr. Kan I this morning on TV saw."
" Mr. Kan this morning on TV saw."
Once you have the basics down, you can use conjunctions to make longer sentences, change the order to make questions, or use not to make negative sentences. There is no need to teach it like a code. School teachers are like salary thieves when they spend dozens of hours endlessly teaching grammar with very little content.
