There is no need to worry about pronunciation in detail. As you progress in your studies, you will learn pronunciation naturally by imitation. As a funny story, Japanese people have a hard time distinguishing between "r" and "l" and cannot pronounce them well, saying, “I ate lice." instead of “I ate rice.”

 Who in the world eats lice? Judging by the context and common sense, this kind of nonsense is impossible. There is no need to be overly sensitive to pronunciation at all. The semantic content is determined by the context, not by the pronunciation of individual words. Even if there are some difficult explanations using diagrams like the ones below, you can simply ignore them.

 Let's take it easy.
