How to acquire English skills even if you don’t want to. 2. My method of studying English unaided 2-2 How to study in your 20s 2-2-1 English Grammar
In your teens, you have already learned basic English grammar and vocabulary in junior high school and high school, so anyone in our 20s can study on our own.
As I mentioned earlier, the language grammar is necessary. As an adult, it is advantageous to have good grammar knowledge if you want to acquire a certain level of English language skills that can be used for work within a limited amount of time. Also, the practical English skill does not just mean speaking fluently. You need to be able to write letters, emails, and reports correctly in business. Grammar is the foundation of English language skills, which is very important when writing in this way. What you write stays for a long time unless you erase, burn or dispose of them. If you are going to use English for work, you must avoid mistakes especially in writing.
The best grammar books for acquiring practical knowledge of grammar are not the deliberately thick ones for entrance exams, but the relatively thin ones that you used in your first year of high school, or that you would use in a vocational high school rather than a preparatory high school. However, please note that a grammar book that is only at the middle school level will not be practical in business. Please memorize all the example sentences from the beginning of this thin grammar book. If you can picture the next sentence in your mind while reading and writing it several times from the beginning, it is when you will have memorized them.
