　　ネットで検索してもらえれば分かるが、教師もクラブの指導が負担になって授業の準備ができないという悲鳴に似た声をブログであげている人が多い。そういう声を受けて文科省も体育系のクラブ活動の練習日を減らす指導を行っている。

  Students must join club activities and have nochoice.  You can check it through theInternet.  Teachers also complain aboutit because they cannot prepare for the classes due to club activities.  The ministry of education strongly recommendsthat teachers give more freedom to students.

　　その流れの中で地方自治体によってはクラブ活動の制限を始めている。

 Somelocal assemblies also try to change this rigid system.

部活の「朝練」の禁止は、是か非か……。中学校の運動部活動の在り方に関して長野県教育委員会が示した方針が全国的に報道され、話題になっています。しかし示された方針は、決して朝の部活動だけではありません。中学校の運動部活動はどうあるべきか、全国に共通する問題を投げ掛けているように思えます。

 

クラブ活動を支持する人が多いのは知っている。私も中学校は体操部にいた。だから、好きな人はやればいい。しかし、強制はやめるべき。自主的でない活動など意味はない。

「強制」になっているのは、自由選択にしたらクラブ活動が崩壊すると支持派の人たちは分かっているのだ。つまり、かなり多くの人たちが反対意見であることを知っている。

I know thereare some people who like the club activity system.  I joined one of the clubs.  If you like it, you join it.  However if you don’t like it, you don’t haveto join it.  That is democracy. 

People whosupport the club activity system knows that the system will be disrupted soon.  That means they know quite a few people opposethe system.

 

どうして多くの生徒、保護者、教師が反対しているのに少数意見など聞く耳を持たないという横暴が何十年も続いているのだろう。

　そんな小さな、当たり前の改革さえ出来ない学校という組織はとても民主的な組織と言えない。

Then why do theclub activities last long?  Students,their parents and teachers don’t like it but nothing happens.  School cannot be called democraticorganization.

 

　私はＳＭＡＰが解散しようが継続しようが興味はないが、ジャニーズ事務所がブラック企業だということは分かった。退社しようとすると、脅しが入る。ここには職業選択の自由などありえない。

　　芸能界がどういう体質なのか、世間の人もよく分かったと思う。

  I’m not interested in SMAP.  But the agent they belong to is so calledblack agent.  When they try to quit theoffice, they are threatened.  There is nofreedom of choice.  We knew it.

「私は感情になど興味はないｂｙ湯川」（１１）

　私たちは以前から

「なんで、あんな歌のヘタな子が歌手をやってんの？」

　と思っていたけれど、それは事務所が売り出したいからだと分かってしまった。ネットの中では“ゴリ押し”女優とか呼ばれている芸能人も多い。世の中が実力だけではなくて、コネがないと駄目なことくらい大人なら分かっているけれど、あまりに露骨に表に出されるとシラケる。

　　We sometimes think

“Why is that singer is popular and on TV?”

　　That is because she is in the big agent.  Now the Internet lets us know the fact whichwe used to misunderstand or used to be controlled. We know in this worldsometimes the connection with a big boss is important.  However we don’t like it because such asystem gives a chance to people who are not making efforts or not talented.

　　実は、塾や予備校業界も似たようなものなので芸能界を批判など出来ない。塾や予備校業界では、河合塾や駿台が絶対的な権威であって私たち個人塾の講師はゴミ扱いを受けがちだ。

　　しかし、我々のような個人塾はマスコミを使った宣伝などできる資金がない。だから、マスコミにコネがない。どんなに力があろうが実績をあげようが、マスコミが見向きをするわけがない。

　大切なスポンサーの行く手を塞ぐような有力な個人塾に手を貸したら、大切なスポンサーの怒りをかってしまう。

　ジャニーズ事務所に逆らったら、ＳＭＡＰであっても干されて仕事がなくなる。生きていけない。どんなに優れた歌手も俳優も、小さな事務所だと一生芽がでない。

  But small schools don’t have a big money touse mass media.  They have no connectionwith mass media and it is very difficult to appear on TV even if they do goodjobs.

  Good small schools could becompetitors to big schools.  If massmedia helps such small schools, they might lose good customers.
